Where does a great idea come from? How can creativity be stimulated? Nurtured? Grown?
Imagination. Innovation. Invention. These three “I”s are the driving force if we are to recapture our economic momentum.
We are all aware that this nation needs an explosion of jobs! Small business entrepreneurs are the leading job creators. Studies, however, show that for the past two decades, creativity is on the wane in this country. At the same time, we need this creativity to give rise to new industries and new ways of doing business.
SpringboardBR is excited to house the Godfrey Center for Creative Strategy; a private non-profit entity named after the late Brace B. Godfrey, Jr. The Godfrey Center has a multi-fold mission:
To conduct creative strategy initiatives for non-profit entities;
To conduct creativity building sessions on behalf of for-profit companies; and,
To establish programs that stimulate, nurture and grow creativity in our current and next generation of entrepreneurs.
The Godfrey Center goal is to assist in generating economic growth and developing a culture of creativity in the Capital Regions.
